The power rests within your message!

Jay Krieger gives an example of how the message itself, not necessarily you, is where the power is. It is in his hopes after you view this, you would be more comfortable presenting your messages without giving too much concern about who you are or how you look.

Stephen Hawking does not have CP, but has a disease that is called Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, which he got hit with when he was at college, but yes, his disease strongly mimics CP.

Yes, I won't worry about my graying hair, my big nose, my thick eyebrows, etc... hahahaha...

Jay, I love your vlogs! I'm eager to get started volgging - AND, I have NO idea how to do this. Can you do one vlog and explain how we can do the vlogs? I'm eager to do the 'Deaf Kids' vlogs where my 3 Deaf kids communicate in ASL, do some brief plays with their friends, and so forth? I already videotaped them .. but where do I go next?? I'm willing to show how my kids sign (sometimes sloppy, too Englsih, too ASL, etc..) - they are just Deaf like us. Thank you.. - Kim

People find my ASL to be fascinating to watch along with my overflowing thoughts and perspectives.

I am not sure if I have the courage as I do not enjoy being in the center of attention to a large group of people. Thanks to years of being bombarded with attention I didn't invite that I've learned to shy away from it.

Only time tell if I will consider it. It is more of ASL as a language to be preserved that might draw me into doing a vlog.

Ive been watching your vlogs ever since marl told me about your website. Finally I get to say something here - you're absolutely right, Jay. No worries how we sign/looks, the message itself is POWERFUL.

Sometimes talking about appearances and the act of delivery (ASL, etc) is a message itself. It has its own discourse. If we tell people to forget about it, we wouldn't be able to bypass it in order to say what we wanted to say.

This message is for John Lestina,

You are a riot! I have to say, I sometimes lost the message because I DID look at the silly hats and props you put on. You're such a funny character! Only you could get away with this!

Thank you for the powerful message. I am struggling with the idea of vlog because I have often been told my signing isnt ASL enough. I will work on overcoming this :) You have a wonderful sidekick, ABC Johnny :)
