Interesting info!

Another interesting fact I want to add:

January 15, 1967 -

Green Bay Packers 35
Kansas City Chiefs 10

So, lets see if Green Bay will win all the way to SuperBowl 2008 to win their 4th since their first win more than 40 years ago!
This is when I was born (Jan 1967) and football has always been my passion, bit odd for such a lady, eh!

May the best team win the superbowl!

Many interesting tidbits about the SuperBowl I already knew and learned some new stuff!

Don't you forgot the classic 70s SuperBowl tv commerical with the kid gave the Coke bottle to one of the Pittsburgh Steelers football player??

The environmental impact of the SuperBowl are toliet flushes during the commerical times at very same time affected the sewer pipes and drainage area greatly.

Ever with the abnornmal spikes in electricity use for just watching the annual television ritual.

I am not much an armchair athlete myself. I rather play sports on physical means than sitting and watching others playing sports.

How sad for the American society and the rest of the world spend considerable time rooting out and worrying whose team will be the victor and loser!

What about us getting physical fitness? What about us doing something about our deaf schools and other deaf issues?

I would like to see the male cheerleaders with their shirts off. Why not???

I just watch the SuperBowl commericals from the tv newscasts.

I keep saying that too many people complain about paying taxes for good schools, not give any damn about paying exhorant fees for the SuperBowl tickets.

You forget one important thing - pizzas. The pizza makers are very blessful for the SuperBowl day to make a lot of $$$.

Cheese on pizzas could clog up our lungs especially mucus membranes. Eating pizzas with cheese should reduce the price of pizza pretty good.

I don't see any logics of seeing some players butt their heads into each other in padding uniforms.

I really don't mind of going to the local SuperBowl party for just foods and chats with other people, who do not give any damn about the SuperBowl event.

It's Joe Greene. Its my favorite Ad about a boy gave a coke bottle to Joe and he threw a shirt to a boy.

I pick NY Giants 31 Green Bay 24

Yep...I like your Super Bowl...the reason why they used these numbers to count the annual gigantic football bowl is because these are Roman numerials. And that does have the root in our American cultural as well as in our sports/

Ancient Greeks have this thought about Hubris...loosely translating the meaning of Manhood and Pride. It was back then that Hubris was the ideal used by every culture in the Greek lands which were of different governing bodies and cultures all united by somewhat a common language. This led to the first Olympics.

It also lead to the Ancient Romans' hunger for Hubris which had bought gladitorial games as the means of entertainmental, political, and social value to the society of the day. Think the Gladitor movie starring Crowe. :-)

Our society was much based on much of ideas deprived from Ancient Greeks and Ancient Romans...in terms of our government, classical education, urban planning, among others...so why not sports!

To our way of thinking, the Superbowl is our way of having our own gladitorial game annually. One get to be "killed" and other get to live.

I hope Chicago Bears capture the Super Bowl title next year!

When American Football League come in 1960 and National Football League was not comfortable with that League till they made an agreement for mergered in 1970 but they had another agreemernt for AFL vs NFL to begin in 1967 for 3 years before get together.

VINCE LOMBARDI WAS FAMOUS TO GET FIRST SUPER BOWL AND GREEN BAY IS VERY SMALL POLLATION LIKE 90,000!

GO NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS GO!!
